Privacy Policy

Overview

EdgeProof ("we," "us," "our") is a desktop analytics application for TradeStation, operated by Florin Kramer, an individual based in Israel. This policy covers both edgeproof.pro / edgeproof.online (the "Site") and the EdgeProof desktop application (the "Software").

The short version. The Software runs entirely on your own computer and makes no network connections at all. Your strategies, trade data, backtest results, parameters and analytics never leave your machine, because there is nowhere for them to go. We only collect what is needed to sell you a license, issue it, and support you.

What We Collect

From the website

• Account details. An email address and password when you create an account, plus your name and country. Accounts are hosted on Lovable Cloud.
• Your TradeStation Customer Number. ⚠️ Required to issue a license, because EdgeProof licenses are tied to a TradeStation Customer Number rather than to a computer. It is a personal identifier, so we state it plainly: we store it against your account and include it in the license token we generate for you. We cannot see your TradeStation account, your positions, your orders or your balances — the number identifies a license holder, nothing more.
• Purchase information. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as merchant of record. Paddle is the seller of record for the transaction and handles payment data under its own privacy policy and PCI obligations. We never receive or store your card details. We do receive your name, email, country and purchase amount, in order to issue your license and support you.
• Website analytics. We use Lovable's built-in analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It is cookieless — it stores nothing on your device and does not identify individual visitors.
• Support correspondence. Whatever you send us, kept only as long as needed to resolve it.

From the Software

Nothing. The Software does not transmit any data.

That is not a policy choice that could quietly change — it is how EdgeProof is built. License validation is performed entirely on your own computer: the license token you paste in is checked against a key built into the application, and compared with the Customer Number TradeStation reports locally. No server is contacted, at activation or at any time afterwards.

So the Software never sends us — and we could not obtain — your strategy code, trade data, backtest results, optimization parameters, or anything about how or what you trade.

If this ever changes, this policy will be updated before such a version ships, and any such feature will be off by default.

What We Don't Do

• We don't sell your data to anyone.
• We don't share your trading strategies or trade data — we do not have them.
• We don't use your TradeStation Customer Number for anything other than issuing and validating your license.
• We don't use your email for anything beyond license, billing and support communication, and product updates if you opt in.

Retention

• License and purchase records — kept as long as needed for support, refunds, and legal and tax record-keeping, and in any case for 7 years from your last purchase or interaction.
• Your Customer Number — kept while your license is active, and for up to 7 years afterwards.
• Support correspondence — deleted or archived once resolved, unless needed for a dispute.
• Website analytics — per the analytics provider's own retention policy.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold — under GDPR in the EU and EEA, UK GDPR, or similar laws elsewhere. To exercise them, contact support@edgeproof.pro.

We hold very little by design: name, email, country, TradeStation Customer Number, and purchase records. Most requests are quick to fulfil.

Note that deleting your account also ends your ability to retrieve or renew your license token, since we would no longer hold the record it is issued against.

Cookies

The Site uses cookies. What they are and how to control them is set out in full in the Cookie Policy.

The Software uses no cookies — it is not a web application.

Third Parties

We have no other processors. In particular, no third party ever receives data from the Software, because the Software sends none.

Children

EdgeProof is a professional trading-analytics tool, not directed at or intended for anyone under 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision, and material changes affecting previously-collected data will be emailed to license holders where required.
